Thomas Haden began his career as a radio personality, and a voice-over artist for commercials.
In the early 1990s, Haden took up acting and later gained fame for his role as Lowell Mather, in the popular NBC sitcom “Wings.”
As a voice actor, Haden voiced the character of Lyle in the animated film “Charlotte’s Web”, and played a role in the animated TV series “Over the Garden Wall”.
In addition to acting, Haden directed and wrote the film “Rolling Kansas”
From 1995, Haden began to starr in the sitcom “Ned and Stacey”, playing the role of Ned Dorsey, a self-centered advertising executive.
In 2004, Haden appeared in the film “Sideways”, portraying Jack Cole, and his role earned an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor.
In 2007, he was cast as Sandman in the blockbuster superhero film, Spider-Man 3.
