CHARLOTTE — A tiny pizzeria in Uptown Charlotte’s The Market at 7th Street is in the spotlight this week, with review site Yelp naming Geno D’s Pizza among its “Top 100 Places to Eat in the U.S.” for 2023. Billing itself as a “Jersey-style, old school pizza shop,” Geno D’s dishes up 10- and 16-inch pies as well as salads, sandwiches, calzones and garlic or cinnamon knots, according to its website.
