Daft Punker revealed at last! French electronic duo Daft Punk made out like bandits at the 56th Annual Grammys in L.A. this past Sunday. Although the group (who won four 2014 Grammys in all, including Album and Record of the year) is now officially a household name, very few folks have ever seen what the two musicians actually look like! In all of their concert and other public appearance, DJs Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter, both 39, have famously chosen to obscure themselves with elaborate helmets and gloves to maintain their so-called robot personas.
But back in October, one of the celebrated Frenchmen, Bangalter, hit the beach in Miami, where he kicked back — and doffed both that trademark helmet and his shirt, too! On a break from touring and promotional duties, Bangalter walked along the shore in red swim trunks. By his side for les vacances a Florida? His very sexy wife! Elodie Bouchez — a well-known French actress — happily showed off her face and toned beach body in a lacy black two-piece. The pair were in Florida at the time for the wedding of Daft Punk’s “Get Lucky” collaborator Pharrell Williams.
The couple, whose homebase is Paris, share sons Tara-Jay, 11, and Roxan, 5.

Bangalter and his bandmate Homem-Christo, recently explained (sort of!) the whole robot persona thing to Rolling Stone. “We’re interested in the line between fiction and reality, creating these fictional personas that exist in real life . . . for us it was sci-fi glam,” Bangalter, known as the “silver robot,” said.
